– “Welcome aboard the Kolibri Space Shuttle – you’re in for a special journey!.”
Intense cinematic techno and deep atmospheric voyages, pushing the Kolibri Live journey into darker, more hypnotic territory. Featuring striking reinterpretations by Dubfire and .VRIL – more info about Kolibri Live LP.
The Part 3 marks the final step before the full unveiling of Kolibri Live LP. Two journey-driven original tracks are presented alongside heavyweight remixes.
Trappist is a progressive, hypnotic voyage built on polyrhythmic synths and evolving intensity — one of the album’s most immersive trips. Capsule follows with a more melodic and memorable path, its strong motif anchoring a deep exploration.
Veteran inspired producer Dubfire reimagines Trappist with a driven minimal techno cut that recalls the golden era of the 2000s, sharpened with modern production into a flawless dancefloor weapon. PETRU’s own Grit Mix strips the track down to a faster, acid and more aggressive form — confident and unrelenting. Capsule is transformed by virtuoso .VRIL into an atmospheric, dreamy dub-leaning piece: a sunrise-ready trip, old-school in the best sense.

Corsican-born producer and live performer, PETRU thrives with bold, driving techno and storytelling. Blending rhythmic precision with a strong sense of narrative and contrast, his music evokes both physical intensity and cinematic depth.
Rooted in hands-on, expressive, hardware-centric production, PETRU was awarded the Richie Hawtin PhD Scholarship in Electronic Music for his ongoing research project THRiPPS – Techno, Hardware-centric, Real-time, Improvisation, Production and Performance Study, which explores live, improvisational performance practices.
After drawing attention with his debut KSS EP and then Mediocracy on Kolibri Space Shuttle Records, PETRU released Mirage and Drifting Embers on long-standing UK label City Wall Records. His well-received EPs featured remixes from established producers such as Alexander Kowalski and Developer. His forthcoming debut album, Kolibri Live LP, marks an important milestone: a cinematic and immersive voyage from nature to space, recorded live in the wilderness of Corsica, with growing support from respected figures across the scene.
Iranian-born, US-raised producer and DJ Dubfire has defined electronic music for over three decades, first as half of the Grammy-winning duo Deep Dish, creators of anthems like Say Hello, Flashdance and their remix of Dido – Thank You.
Launching his solo career in 2007, he quickly made his mark with groundbreaking tracks such as RibCage, Roadkill and his classic remix of Grindhouse. He has since collaborated with leading artists including Stephan Bodzin, Underworld, Miss Kittin, Carl Craig and Oliver Huntemann, while also delivering acclaimed remixes across the techno spectrum.
Through his SCI+TEC label, the innovative HYBRID and EVOLV shows, and the documentary Above Ground Level, Dubfire continues to push creative and technological boundaries, cementing his place as one of the most visionary and influential figures in underground music.
2026 sees him deliver a striking reinterpretation for PETRU KSS’s debut album on Kolibri Space Shuttle Records.
The German techno artist and producer VRIL is known for his visionary, energetic and profound Live performances. His journey began with the groundbreaking 12” Vril 1–4 in 2010 and a first gig at Berlin’s legendary Berghain in 2011.
Releases on Ostgut Ton, Delsin, IMF and Dystopian followed, including highlights such as Torus, Thronwagen, UV, Vortekz, Anima Mundi, and his 2020 album BM4 on Marcel Dettmann’s Bad Manners. His fifth solo album Animist arrived in 2023 on Delsin Records.
Alongside solo work, VRIL has collaborated with Rødhåd as Out Of Place Artefacts and was part of Sebastian Mullaert’s Circle of Live, sharing the stage with Amp Fiddler, Mathew Jonson, Âme, Neel and more. His remix work includes SUUNS, HVOB, Sterac and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.
VRIL’s sound shifts between hypnotic techno, electro and ambient – spacious, arcane and cosmic, constantly revealing hidden layers and textures with each listen.
