How to Participate?
- Fill in the Registration Form ↓ and download the remix pack from the contest page.
- Get creative with the materials and produce your very own remix.
- Render un-mastered mixdown: WAV 44.1/48 kHz 24 bits, max peak -3dB.
- Name the file: Artist – Track Title (Your Artist Name Remix)
- Upload your remix privately on Soundcloud with download enabled.
- Paste the private link with your details into the official Submission Form ↓
Important
- Don’t reuse, share, or sell the stems outside this contest.
- No public posting before winners are announced.
- One entry per artist.
- Remixes must be human-made – sorry Skynet, another day!
- Submit your Mixdown version in priority.
- A mastered version can be added, for reference only. In that case, share a SoundCloud playlist link instead, containing both versions.
- And most importantly – have fun! Prizes are nice, but the real goal is to make music!
FAQ
- Kolibri ‘Live’ contest? – We encourage and love live electronic music, but it’s not a requirement for your remix.
- How will winners be selected? – By Kolibri Space Shuttle Records team. We like creative, original, immersive and well produced music.
- Can I submit more than one remix? – Nein! One entry per artist or team.
- Do I have to use all the samples? – Take what inspires you, tweak it, mix in your own synths or instruments, and make it yours.
- Will the winning remixes be released? – There’s no guarantee for it, but we may consider an official release.
- Can I use AI tools? – This contest celebrates human-made music, please avoid generative AI audio tools.
- Where will the results be shared? – On Petru’s and KSS Records’ instagram profiles.
- Where can I listen to the original track? – It’s intentionally undisclosed. This encourages creative interpretation, and the original will be released in March.

About Kolibri Live LP
Kolibri Live LP marks a major milestone for PETRU KSS: his debut album, recorded between the wild landscapes of Corsica and the underground pulse of London.
Mixed by acclaimed engineer Hannes Bieger and mastered at Calyx, it stands as a statement that, even in an age of AI-driven creation, human risk, imperfection and imagination remain at the heart of art. Out via Kolibri Space Shuttle Records, the album will unfold in multiple EPs/chapters from October 2025 to early 2026.

– your WAV file is in 44.1/48 kHz – 24 bit
– the track is set to private on SoundCloud
– the download feature is activated
– you’ve tested the link in private browser

PETRU KSS
Corsican-born producer and live performer, PETRU thrives with bold, driving techno and storytelling. Blending rhythmic precision with a strong sense of narrative and contrast, his music evokes both physical intensity and cinematic depth.
Rooted in hands-on, expressive, hardware-centric production, PETRU was awarded the Richie Hawtin PhD Scholarship in Electronic Music for his ongoing research project THRiPPS – Techno, Hardware-centric, Real-time, Improvisation, Production and Performance Study, which explores live, improvisational performance practices.
After drawing attention with his debut KSS EP and then Mediocracy on Kolibri Space Shuttle Records, PETRU released Mirage and Drifting Embers on long-standing UK label City Wall Records. His well-received EPs featured remixes from established producers such as Alexander Kowalski and Developer. His forthcoming debut album, Kolibri Live LP, marks an important milestone: a cinematic and immersive voyage from nature to space, recorded live in the wilderness of Corsica, with growing support from respected figures across the scene.
